The Lofts sit in the middle of the action at Georgia State. Adjacent to Alumni Hall in the center of campus, the Lofts have 231 apartments in 8 floor plans, with a total occupancy of 431. Lofts are available primarily for undergraduates, but we have some spaces available for single students age 21 and older, married students and students with children. Also, several floors house the Community of Scholars, an academically focused community for undergraduates enrolled in a scholarís program or in the University Honors Program.
The loft-style construction boasts open floor plans, sealed concrete flooring, and exposed ductwork. In keeping with the surrounding architecture, The Lofts features an urban façade.
Parking at the lofts is available in the adjacent deck for an additional fee. Please contact Auxiliary Services for information.

Apply to Live at the Lofts
To be considered for an apartment in The Lofts, students must complete the online application and submit the $50 non-refundable application processing fee. The application is available on GoSOLAR by clicking Univeristy Housing on the student menu. Apartments are offered to applicants in the order in which applications are received by the Housing Office, on a space available basis. The waiting list starts early.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a housing assignment. Assignments are made on a first come-first served basis. Housing is assigned to current residents based on a lottery system.
