Vice President Robin Morris
Has responsibility for all aspects of research administration and serves as the advocate for Georgia State University 's research and scholarship.
Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP)
OSP processes all proposals prior to submission to a funding agency and is responsible for the non-financial aspects of post-award grants administration.
Office of Research Financial Services (RFS)
RFS provides accounting services for sponsored grants and contracts and assists with financial management of awards. Each University department has a RFS representative responsible for that unit's awards.
Offices of Research Compliance and Safety
These offices enable researchers to comply with federal and state regulations governing the use of human subjects, animals, and hazardous and radioactive materials in research, as well as occupational and environmental health and safety.
URSA investigates and advises on matters involving scholarly misconduct and conflict of interest. Information is provided for students and new faculty on the "Responsible Conduct in Research" required training.
URSA provides internal grants to faculty, disseminates information on external funding opportunities, and conducts education & training programs.
Office of Technology & Commercialization Development Programs
Promotes the development of Intellectual Property and the transfer of that value to the commercial and economic community.
Provides housing, husbandry and veterinary care for all research animals at Georgia State University. The Attending Veterinarian provides consultation on all animal related issues and oversight to ensure humane animal care.

GSURF is the legal applicant and recipient for research and sponsored program awards conducted by GSU faculty and staff.
